Hello and welcome to my blog!  After getting my BA in Classics from the University of Virginia in 2009, I decided to get my MLIS (Master’s of Library and Information Science) from Syracuse University.  Additionally pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Study in Cultural Heritage Preservation, I am due to graduate this May.  Combining my two degrees, I deeply believe in the importance of preserving 3D objects, manuscripts, and books for a more personal take on history.  This blog is focused on documenting my experiences as a student and on trends in the greater library field, mostly those relating to cultural heritage preservation.
